Future sixth graders, I want to start off by saying that sixth grade isn't as hard as people might tell you. I thought that sixth grade was going to be hard, yes you will run into some problems but it's not that hard.
What you need to focus on the next year is keeping on track. Do your homework when you get homework done when you get home. Since I had hockey and soccer I had to get my work done, and most of the times I tried to get work done after I had a game or practice so I was too tired.
Also keep your things organized. At the middle of the year I organized my cubby and I think you should too.
The main thing that you will find useful in sixth grade is having respect and gaining respect. I guarantee if you do your work and don't make excuses for not doing your work you will gain respect from others, especially teachers.
Again, sixth grade isn't that hard if you do what you are supposed to and follow rules.
