6th grade advice

In 6th grade I find it helpful to study for tests, keeping organized and turning everything in on time is very helpful. I will attempt to help you succeed at doing these.

Studying for tests: In 6th grade tests are longer and harder, but studying really helps. In social studies I think it helps to take notes on what the tests will be about because most social studies tests are open note tests. Then in english tests you will have to learn to memorize words and their meaning. Each english tests there is about 15-20 words you have to memorize. I personally think that going over the words and what they mean over and over.

Keeping organized: You should always keep organized because you can lose papers and not get points. Keeping organized is a big part of turning everything in on time. Knowing where everything is and where to find it at all times is really important. I do admit I haven’t been very organized this year, but then i realized how important staying organized really is.

Turning everything in on time: No matter how big the project or how fun something else is you HAVE to turn things in on time. If you turn something in late you will still get points but not all of them.  This kinda brings me back to keeping organized. Even if you finish the assignment you have to know how to get it to your teacher. There is always a way to turn it in, so no excuses work.

All three of these things will probably help you get through 6th grade, but I’m not making any promises.
