Some Advice
To all the upcoming 6th graders I'm going to tell you about how 6th grade works. First don't worry in the beginning of the year you have almost no homework. And when you get homework it is super easy (it's like what you learned in the middle of the year). However, later in the year the homework gets really hard, but what's good about it is that we probably still have less homework than you.
You also get iPad minis so make sure they are charged because after the day they will be very drained of battery. At the beginning of the day if it's at 100%, by the end of the day it will be at about 40% - 50% unless you conserve battery. Ask for help too since there will always be a teacher in the room. If you need any assistance just ask a teacher.
