I am Henry Nelson and this is my top five fails/awesome things done by me. Some may too intense for some kids. Just kidding, but seriously it’s intense! You know that moment when you fail or succeed? You've got try to figure out which one is a fail or a success. Sometimes it's both. I will share a variety of both.
5) I got betted to jump a garbage can so number five isssssss when I tried to jump a garbage can, and I tripped over it rolling down a hill going mach twenty landing on my face. Then I hit a innocent kid his ice cream fell on my lap.
4) When I was in a football game and I tried to tackle a player so I dropped my shoulder for a big hit but he just destroyed me and I landed in a puddle.
3) My next attempt took place at the couch. I was sitting at the couch minding my own business but my chunky older brother wanted the remote when I was using it! So me and my brother boxed for it. Then I got a black eye.
2) When I was playing hockey a kid shot it for a championship game winner in over time and it ricocheted off my left pad he then shot again and I saved it with my stick flailing in the air.
1) The best fail ever is when I tried to prank my brother with dye in the shampoo on April fools day. We were in a prank war but I used it instead of him. But I lost the war by a whopping twenty two points.
That was my top 5 list hope you enjoyed leave a comment in the description in the area below.

Five Winter Adventures
Always bored in the winter with nothing to do? Are you thinking the snow is terrible? Well if you so, try some of these activities and they will give you something fun and exciting to do and not just sit inside.
Downhill Skiing:
Imagine going 50 Miles an hour down the fastest hill. Going up at a birds eye view to start the journey all over again. Racing left to right, to pick up speed. You can go as slow, or as fast as you want down across Spirit Mountain.
Snowboarding:
Slipping in through the slopes on an angle. Taking a crash into the ice cold snow bank to halt to a stop. Feels like you could be on a balance beam and could topple over at any moment. So easy to do it, it's like trying to ride a bike.
Cross Country Skiing:
Snow drifts to the sides and in the middle, gliding through the snow. It's as easy as walking on ground. Feeling fast? Go at your own pace. Gliding through the trails and all you have to do is watch and walk. Snow attaching to the plastic long shoes and beginning to be unsteady.
Sledding:
Slipping on the icy snow as you crash into a snowbank. Not having control. Stand up and hold on, hoping something good will come out of it, when really you will just take a crash. Sitting down and clutching the handles and getting to the bottom of the hill. Walking back up and starting all over again.
Snowshoeing:
Stomping through the deep snow as if you are Bigfoot. Snow clutching to the strange wooden shoes. Hopping along and hearing the thump echoing. But in site, trees in the dark woods.
Park Place
Have you ever wondered what it would be like to ride on a cable car or ski in 76 degree weather where there is no snow in sight? So many different airports,so many different planes,so many places to travel, so many different airplane pretzels and crackers to eat. The following are places I have enjoyed the most.
1. Boston
I loved Boston because of so many things. One of the things was the historical value that was there. An example is that we saw Paul Rever's grave. Another thing is the fresh seafood like Lobster and Clam Chowder.
2. San Francisco
Another place that I loved was San Francisco because of the seafood at Fishermans Wharf also the fresh made Ghirardelli chocolate. Alcatraz was really fun but also scary because I was only 7 and the Muir Woods the trees were Huge! Also riding the cable cars and seeing the world’s curviest road.
3. Washington D.C
The best part of the trip was seeing the Smithsonian museum with many different and cool exhibits including the Spirit of Saint Louis. Also monuments like the Lincoln Memorial,Jefferson Memorial, the Vietnam Wall, and the White House. Another was going to Ford's theater.
4. Seattle
I have thing to say do not walk through Seattle at midnight it does not give you a welcome feel. Going to the top of the Space Needle was pretty amazing and going to the fish market because of the throwing of the fish . Also having one of the best doughnuts in my life at Top Pot donuts.
5. Utah
Utah was amazing the one that I thought was the most was Arches National park the Arches were amazing because of how old they are also watching the US men's national soccer team play.I also learned that Utah is nothing like the MN in the Summer like when your cars temperature is 106. Also I went to the Utah winter Olympic park is was cool to see people ski in 76 degree weather and see people bobsled in 76 weather also.
To conclude there are many places to travel so many places to be hope you enjoyed the places i have been.

Top Green Bay Packers
Forrest Gregg, Jim Taylor, Don Hutson, and Reggie White. What do these guys all have in common? They're all ledgends Packer history.
History of the Packers: The Packers have won a total of 13 championships, including four Super Bowsl, which is more than any other American professional football team. The Packers are also the only team ever to win three strate NFL titles, which they did twice (1929–1931 and 1965–67).
So now that you have learned a little about the Packers you can read about some of the players which led the packers to their success.
Offensive tackle: Forrest Greg
Forrest Greg was apart of the Packers all-time team. He was selected by the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1994. He won five titles under Lombardi.
Running back: Jim Taylor
When he retired he was the NFL’s 2nd tall-time leading rusher. He set a Packera record and he led the league in rushing yards with 1,474 yards in 1962 and 90 touchdowns. This was the only that anyone was “beat out” Jim Brown.
Coach: Vince Lombardi
When Vince Lombardi was coaching the Packers won five NFL championships. Including the first two Super Bowls. Lombardi’s team was 89-29-4.
Wide receiver: Don Hutson
Don Hutson was the first great pass receiver. Hutson was the best wide receiver in the NFL before Jerry Rice. In 1945 he retires as the NFL’s all time leader in receptions, yards, and touchdowns.
Quarterback: Bart Starr
9-1 in the post season. He had the Packers "on top" five times. He was also on the all-time team.
Defensive lineman: Reggie White
White was one of the best defensive lineman in the NFL. He had 68.5 sacks and legendary plays. He was in his thirtys for his six season with the Packers.

My Favorite Literature Pieces by Brandon J.
I love to read. Reading is my favorite thing to do. I have read eighty-four books this school year and I have many more yet to read. I have wrote about my five most favorite books. Here they are:
1: The Serpent's Shadow by Rick Riordan
I like learning about the Egyptian gods. The Serpent's Shadow has true information about them and has helped me learn more about them. The Serpent's Shadow has been one of my favorites since my grandparents got it for me on my birthday. There are monsters to stop and Apophis is rising.
2: Firestar's Quest by Erin Hunter
I like Firestar's Quest because there are TONS of felis catus - cats!
There are cats fighting and training other cats. Cats have to figure out what mysterious visions mean and then travel for miles to find a lost Clan and help cats’ spirits.
3: Stealing Air by Trent Reedy
Airplanes. Giant pig balloons. A secret workshop. Plane crashes. A poop-bombing. A very smart kid makes a flyable plastic airplane from stuff he stole and it gets wrecked often and they have to fix it a lot. All these events happen because Brian's dad's company relocates it's headquarters to Iowa.
4: The Chocolate Touch by Patrick S. Catling
Everything that passes through or touches his lips turns to chocolate. A silver dollar. A metal fork. A trumpet. Then his mom. All becuse of his love for chocolate.
5: Ark Angel by Anthony Horowitz
A British space hotel being made, four billion pounds (British money) over budget.
The owner wants it gone. He wants his name erased from criminal acts. A nuclear bomb. He want to blow up the Pentagon. Who wins?
Out of the eighty-four books I have read this school year, these are my favorite. I think you should read them because maybe you would enjoy them too.
Europa Avventure By Molly S.
Have you ever dreamed of floating on a gondola on the Piave River? Or climbing the Eiffel Tower? Well I have, so I decided to make my list of top five places to visit in Europe.
1) My number one attraction to visit in Europe is definitely the Eiffel Tower. The reason why I think the Eiffel Tower is the best place to visit, is because it is located in France; a very famous country. Another reason, is that the Eiffel Tower sparkles and shimmers like fireworks in the dark, starry night. The final reason, is that amazing views of Paris can be seen as you walk farther up the tower.
2) Tick, tock goes Ben the clock; another must see in Europe. Big Ben is located in London, and it helps visitors and citizens alike to travel from A to B. If its hands aren't enough, then the sound that it makes on the hour ring out. If its hands and sound are not enough, then its height will definitely be seen as it is the second tallest structure in Europe.
3) This one is very unique. It is the Ukraine Independence Square, in Kyiv. It is different because in the Square there is a water fountain that " spills" over steps for many feet to enjoy. Also, it has beautiful domed Cathedral buildings that shimmer in the sunlight. (or at least it use to.) Is soccer your passion? Well, just down the street, is the stadium where Ukraine held the 2012 World Cup soccer series.
4) Venice is a very gorgeous city. It is a magical place to visit because the long Piave River runs through it. Twisting and turning down the river, float the gondalas that show the magnificent views. When laying in a gondala on the Piave River, while looking up, it seems that the tall and historical buildings are giants hovering over me.
5) Last but not least, the Leaning Tower of Pisa. I would want to visit here because it is actually a bell tower, and I would like to know if the bell is what caused the tower to lean. Also, I would like to know its architectural features, such as where each brick was placed and why. The final reason, is that it is a tower that looks like a stack of dice leaning to the point of tumbling.
So in conclusion, I would love to visit any of the places above, but if I was given the chance to visit two, I would go to the Independence Square in Kyiv, Ukraine, and of course, the Eiffel Tower.

Saves of Glory
Most Minnesotans / Wisconsinites know about the NHL but not many people know all the players and it gets even harder when you're talking about the goalies. This is a list of the best 5 NHL hockey goalies playing today.
5. Martin Brodeur a 6'2" 216 lb 41 year old goalie for the New Jersey Devels has 622 GP which means points for a goalie. He also has 3 goals in his NHL career. He is one of the only goailes who has scored a goal.
4. Henrik lundqvist a New York Ranger's goalie and the goalie for the Swedish international team with 568 GP in his career. Even though Brodeur has more points lundqvist is the goalie for Sweden. The average GP is the high 500s to 600s.
3. Pekka Rinne is a 6'5" goal for the Finnish international team and for the Nashville Predators in the NHL. He has also played for the Milwaukee admirals in the AHL. His GP is 317 and that is just his NHL career not for Finland.
2. Tuukka Rask the goalie for the Boston Bruins who brought the team to the playoffs every year he was a goalie with them. He is 6'2" and 185 lbs he was born March 10, 1987 in Tapere Finland. He brought the Bruins to the #1 seed in the NHL this year and they also just had a 9 game winning streak.
1. Jonathan Quick the goalie for the LA Kings and is put in the third seed in the Western Conference. He played for the Manchester Monarchs and the university of Massachusetts-H-east. He is ranked first in his GP,SO,L and PIM in the playoffs.
Deaf Ears Aren’t Good For You... By: Margo A
Have you ever listened to a song on the radio, and thought I lost count on how many times this song has played? If you listen to a station (not pointing fingers or anything…) that repeatedly plays a song *cough* 102.5 *cough* you will understand what I am feeling when you experience these symptoms, deaf ears, speaking louder when the song comes on, plastering a fake smile on your face and nodding your head. You know it!
What Does The Fox Say
Ylvis
I don't have a clue what the fox says and I don't want to know. It honestly makes my ears wilt. Maybe they should have looked into the farming business instead of a musical career.
Gangum Style
Psy
Maybe it is the repetitive noise or the yelling, but I think it is the dance. When people try to the dance to the music it makes me want to puke. It looks like they are trying to pull your pants up but somehow got electrocuted in the process.
Diamonds
Rihanna
In the beginning of this tale about diamonds I decided that this song was okay. The tune was catchy and I could jam to it. Then, after the first week I wondered why it was still playing. Unfortunately I listen to one radio station that decided that it was the best song of all time. Eventually I learned to dislike the song. I think that diamonds shouldn’t be in the sky...
Baby
Justin Bieber
Even the mention of that song makes me cringe. Hearing it is probably the worst, and even more terrible is seeing people like it. It is a girl (sorry, boy) repeating a call for love. Something tells me he didn’t get what he wanted.
Firework
Katy Perry
Honestly it is the tune that got to me. It was so catchy that I found myself singing it everywhere. It obviously got annoying so whenever it plays, -may it be on the radio or pandora- I promptly change the station. I will inform you that babies aren’t fireworks.
I hope my list was intriguing and made you smile. I'm sure you can relate to me when I talk about these songs.
Top 5 Out-Of-The-Park Bynames by: Matthew E
Top 5 Out-Of-The-Park Bynames
As they step up the crowd shouts out his nickname
"Big Papi, Big Papi."
That is just one of the very popular nicknames in the game of baseball. Almost every player has a nickname but to me these are some of the more famous nicknames of all time.
Ozzie Smith "Wizard of Oz" Ozzie Smith played shortstop for the St. Louis Cardinals and San Diego Padres from 1978 to 1996. He was a very good baseball player that is most known for his backflip when he ran on the field. And he got his nickname in 1985 when the said they to Oz from his name and he was magical and shortstop.
Lance Berkman "Fat Elvis" Lance Berkman was a very good 1st baseman for the Houston Astros, New York Yankees, Texas Rangers, and St. Louis Cardinals from 1997-2013 and just recently retired. He played some outfield for a couple of years but found his best self playing first base. He was one of the best home run hitters of Houston Astro history.
David Ortiz “Big Papi” David Ortiz has probably the most popular name in all of baseball. He is a 1st basemen for the Boston Red Sox and has been called that all of his career. They call him “Big Papi” because he is Mexican and Papi is Mexican for dad so in english it means”Big Dad.”
George Herman Ruth “The Bambino Babe” Babe Ruth is one of the best baseball players of all time. He started his career with the Boston Red Sox as a pitcher. When he was traded to the Yankees and he became a first basemen and went on to become one of the best. When George was born he became an orphan around 3.
Kevin Youkilis “Youk” Kevin Youkilis is a 3rd basemen for the New York Yankees and very well known as “Youk” as the crowd shouts it out when we walks out. He has spent his whole career with Boston Red Sox and New York Yankees. He still plays in the MLB.
In conclusion, my favorite baseball nickname is probably "Big Papi" because of how all baseball fans know his nickname and the crowd cheers his name really loudly. All though he is my favorite player these other players deserve credit for making a name in the league for themselves.

A List Worth Debating
A List Worth Debating
By Collin
Every year I get a pang of sadness on Super Bowl Sunday because most of the time my team has fallen short again, but there are still some some players in this sport which make this game exhilarating to watch. Here are the five best football players of my generation. Before you read them I would like you to know that one of these athletes is not actually a top ranked athlete. In fact, he is not even in the top 100, but I thought I’d include him, because he helped the Vikings become less pathetic. But some are truly great.
Aaron Rodgers *
There are lots of reasons that Rodgers made the top of my list. First, he won the Super Bowl in 2010 which is a pretty big accomplishment. Second, he was voted MVP (most valuable player) of the Super Bowl which led to him becoming Associated Press Athlete of the Year. Lastly he has been the starting quarterback of the Green Bay Packers for five years which is a long time for a football player.
Adrian Peterson
*
Adrian Peterson might just be one of the best running backs of all time. I’m not saying this because I’m a major fan. I’m not even a fan, but I have a lot of respect for this athlete. That’s why he made number 2 of my top five list. There are a lot of ways Adrian Peterson is such a great athlete. First, he is going up against a lot of steroid pumped muscle men and doing very well. Here are some numbers: ten in every 15 player per team are on steroids. Second, he was most definitely the best NFL running back in 2012 (he missed the rushing yard record by 3 yards). Lastly, he hurt his hamstring, but is still one of the best in the league.
Tim Tebow.
*
This athlete made my top five for the absolute opposite reason than our friend Adrian Peterson. The only reason he made the top five is because I’m a fan of his. Even though he is not the best player in NFL he still has a lot of achievements. First, he was one of the best college quarterbacks of his time. Second he was the Heisman Trophy winner in 2010. Lastly he did bring his team to the second round of the playoffs his first year.
Ray Lewis.
*
I picked Ray Lewis for this list, because he was a good player. The reasons don’t stop there. First, he has a really exhilarating pregame dance. Second, His face guard is a very funky looking piece of equipment, but I think it looks cool. Lastly he was a key player in winning the superbowl.
Matt Cassel
* I picked Matt Cassel because basically he dethroned my least favorite player of all time from his starting quarterback position. Matt Cassel has his perks. First, he was invited to be a backup quarterback in the pro bowl. Second, He started as the backup quarterback for the Vikings and worked his way up to the starting spot on there roster. Lastly, He won five more games than Christian Ponder did who was the Viking starting quarterback at the beginning of the year
Best Hoods In All Of Time And Space (By: Carter S.)
Intro: This top 5 list is based on the BBC show Doctor Who. I chose this topic because I am a major whovian (Doctor Who Fan). These villainous creatures are all trying to ruin the doctor, Take over the galexys, hunt, or make new episodes.
5) Whisper Men
Deep in the fields of trenzalore lies the Whisper Men also known as… The Great Intelligence. If you overhear their whispers they will come for you. They could be the very end of the universe itself.
4) Vashta Nerada
Hidden in the book shelves of The Library lurks the Vashta Nerada. These nasty monsters are usually referred to as the “Shadow Piranha” can hunt you, the only way you can know if they are stalking you is you will have numerous shadows
3) Weeping Angels
These beasts don’t follow you in one zone they are found through all of time and space. If they touch you you will have to travel a long time to get back to your time. If you see them for the first time you expect nothing it's a statue then you blink It's Closer!
2) Daleks
These metal shelled creatures are flying through time locks through time and space preparing to take over the world (usually the UK). They even come in multiple colors!!
1) Steven Moffat…
This famous director is the ultimate hood. He can kill off one of the most important characters in the series In Their First Eppisode!!! (It's all wibbly wobbly timey whimy takes too long to describe). He directs the episodes where your best friends die... Thanks Steven Moffat -_-
Conclusion: These are the best villainous hoods found throughout time and space. They are considered the most villainous hoods in all of time and space because they are the most undefeated, invincible, and stealthy Villains ever known. And there are many more creeping around the timelines so keep an eye out.
The End (thanks for reading my blog)
What You're Missing Out On by: Noor S.
Have you ever finished a really good book, and you don’t know what to do with your life? Yeah, I think we all have. Here’s how to fix it: find another one. I have the perfect list that will help you find something to quench your thirst for a new adventure.
I think my favorite book of all time might just be Harry Potter and The Prisoner of Azkaban by J.K. Rowling. I like this book the best because in this (in the Harry Potter series) book, you really understand Harry’s need for his parents and how lonely he was. It also shows that Hermione and Ron are his friends for life, and are there when he needs them. Last but not least, I love this book because some of my favorite characters were introduced in this book. Start at the first book, The Sorcerer's Stone. The first few pages might be a hard read, but trust me, it is worth it.
Another one of my many favorite books is the book The Lightning Thief by Rick Riordan. I like this book second best because it is the start of the series, which is usually the best. This series actually doesn’t get worse, but I still love this book. I also like this book because Percy is starting to figure out who he is demi-god wise, and it is a very interesting adventure. Last but not least, I love this book because I learn a lot about Greek gods and goddesses, which helps me in S.S. :D.
My third favorite book is City of Bones by Cassandra Clare. I like this book because even though there is so much drama, and it is very confusing figuring out whom is related to whom, the book is still really exciting and well-written. I also love this book because after reading it, you wish you were a Shadowhunter, and the way the author writes, you feel like you are one. Last but not least I love this book because it gives you surprise after surprise, and that keeps you on your toes and more importantly reading.
My fourth favorite book is The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins, because it shows that not only if we keep enjoying other people’s misery, we will soon live it, but also because it shows that not everything is perfect, and your prince might not come until you try to kill him and vise versa.
My fifth favorite book is The Bad Beginning by Lemony Snicket. I like this book because it shows not every story has a happy ending. I also like this book because you are not only trying to figure out everything in the Baudelaire children's life's, but also who Lemony Snicket really is. There is always a mystery, and sometimes ones that go unanswered. (J.S. and V.F.D)
In conclusion, these are the books I highly recommend you read, or at least I have enjoyed. Even though you may think reading is boring, it is really fun, all you need is the right book.
Seeing the World From a Different Angle by Meagan M.
If your head only reaches the bottom of others chins , or you have to sit in the front row at movie theaters then we are on the same page. Fear not Citizens of this community for I have all the not-so-bad sides to this common scenario called being short.
5. You are the miniscule ninja that can fit through anything…. You are the master-the master of-of (drumroll please!) Hide n’ Seek!
4. Hide n’ seek isn’t the only game your a master at. No, this game you can curve and bend . Your body can bend down real low. Or you know you can just walk under…. I am, of course talking about limbo… ;)
3.Have you ever heard someone say " How's the weather up there?" or " Wow can you see my house from here?". Or course you haven't! You would never say that to a short person, now would you?
2. One of my absolute favorite advantages is that you live longer ( on average ). Which means you can really take advantage of these advantages.... especially this last one..
1. The last- and definitely best best advantage-(or at least for girls) - is that you can wear high heels whenever you want to. Why? Because you are short and you love it!
A Plate Full of These by: Hanna W.
If I had a plate full of these things, my life would be pretty much complete. These five things are amazing objects that don't compare to their cousins, because of their amazing flavor that makes my mouth water, and their bright colors that attract my atention. These items are amazing in many ways.
Apples: Apples come in a variety of colors, sizes, and tastes. Some apples are sour and yellow, others are sweet and red. Those are only some examples, there are a lot of different types of apples. There are over 7,500 different types of apples in the world. You know what they say, an apple a day, keeps the doctor away!
Mangos: Mangos are sweet, orange fruit. They have an odd shape, they can be a yellow-orange color. They have a long brown pit in the center of them. Mangos are an amazing fruit that everyone should like. Make sure you dont eat the bitter skin!
Pears: Pears, like apples, come in lots of colors, sizes, shapes, and tastes. They can look like an apple, or they can look like a typical pear. Pears are sometimes red, and others yellow or green. There are even some pears that look like apples. Some people call those "papples".
Watermelons: Watermelons are large, and green on the outside. On the inside, they are juicy and red. Watermelons are sweet and very juicy. Sometimes there are black seeds, that all children are told not to eat, so they don't have a watermelon to grow in their stomachs.
Pineapples: Pineapples are spikey, and rough on the outside. On the inside they are yellow, juicy, and smooth. Pineapples are the perfect mix of sweet and sour. Make sure you are careful when touching the outside of them!
As you can tell, I like fruit quite a bit. Fruit not only tastes good, but it is good for you, too. I like most kinds of fruit, but there are certain fruits I don't like. One fruit that I really don't like is a banana. I really don't get why some people won't eat their fruit, because it is so good! Apples, mangos, pears, watermelons, and pineapples are the best fruits in the ever!
