“WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY?!?!” By: Alexandra D.

The following quotes are from Mrs. Kiero’s Quote book from the Marshall School Class of 2020.

In Mrs. Kiero's math class when you are supposed to be working, occasionally you will start talking about random stuff, and when Mrs. Kiero hears it, and thinks it is quote-worthy she sprints to the Quote Book, and there's no turning back. It's now in the quote book for everyone to see. 

5) “That guy with the bald hair.” Claire Casey was referring to a bald person on a show called Shark Tank. Claire's quote made the top 5 list because my dad is bald and I thought that was funny. 

4) “I have to be drugged and sent to a barn.” Stella LaTour was referring to taking a family's picture in the barn with her horses and she is very allergic to horses. So she had to take some allergy medicine (which she referred to as being drugged) and then sent to the barn for the picture. Stella's quote made the top 5 list because the way she chose to express that was hysterical. 

3) “There must be a lot of fat eggnog cows.” Mrs. Kiero's class was talking about how brown cows make chocolate milk and white cows make white milk. Collin Patton thought that egg nog came directly from cows, and since eggnog is fattening, he thought that "There must be a lot of fat eggnog cows." Collin's quote made the top 5 because I've known his family since I was little and that quote sums up Collin. 

2) “It looks like one of those things that comes out on Groundhogs Day!” Kiel Kuhlke was referring to a beaver puppet at our field trip to the River watch. Kiel's quote made the top 5 list because when he said "It looks like one of those things that comes out on Groundhogs Day!" It's a groundhog, Kiel! You just said it.

1) “Hanna and Izzy are like flint and steel. Hanna is the flint and Isabel is the steel. Put them together, and you have a fire of immaturity.”  “That is so beautiful and accurate.” Nelson Han was referring to Hanna Widdes and Isabel Poelma being best friends and how they are so immature together. Noor Saleh seconded that because she what's known those two for a long time and she knows how immature they can be. Noor Saleh and Nelson Han's quotes made number one because I also have known Hanna Widdes and Izzy Poelma for a period of time and I know exactly what Nelson Han meant by that, and it is "...so beautiful and accurate." 

Take it from an experienced sixth grader, after reading this, don't say anything you'll regret around Mrs. Kiero.
