Random 5th grader,
I am here to help you through 6th grade with some advice. Ok, first I will tell you about the homework situation. There is not nearly as much homework as 5th grade. However you have to get it in on time or else it is a 50% or 0%. Next I will tell you about the IPads. During class (unless told) you can not use them. At the start of the year you set them up which is difficult but try to pay as much attention as possible (I didn't and it made things hard). What you also need to know is to study for tests. The tests can be very hard if you don't study or pay attention. One thing that is key in 6th grade is your behavior. You can not fool around or else you'll get busted. Horseplay is not tolerated (especially in science because it can be dangerous). One last piece of advice is to do your best. Don't slack ir get bad grades because it will come back to bite you.
