A Summer Away
Some things you need to know about sixth grade are that you'll be able to join band and you'll have new and great teachers. Be sure to only use your iPad when necessary. It can get you in trouble or taken away. REMEMBER to charge your iPad every night. You will need it for the next day and you don't want a dead battery. A tip you should follow is use classroom homework time well because you will need it on some days. You will not have a crazy amount of homework but you will have enough where if you do a sport or any other after school activities that you will be up late to get it done. One thing I thought was fun was the River Watch Congress field trip. We did not have that many field trips this year, but one thing to remember is take good notes on the field trip because they could be helpful during the year.
