6th Grader, Soon to Be

                6th grader, soon to be

                 Here's some advice from me,

                 Where you are going, change will be,

                 Abundant, please believe in me

                 Your world will be crammed to the top,

                 Of German, a musical, shall I stop?

                 Your agenda will also contain

                 Writing, And in science, a plane

                 Some things to hold onto the same,

                 Gym, Art, Music, playing a game,

                 Friends, New, Old, and Just quite weird

                 Will keep you up and spritely, cheered

                 So don't stay awake at night

                 Dreaming of next year, 'time of fright!'

                 It is really quite okay

                 Don't fret about first sixth grade day,

                 Though the ipad minis may be new

                  And taking them home might be too,

                  Friends and teachers will help you 

                  And someday you'll be writing this to-

                  The next year of 6th graders soon to be.
