You Don't Say

You Don't Say
An advice column for future 6th graders

There are a lot of things that are pretty obviously bad ideas, but I'm going to list them all because everyone does them. Whatever you do, don't do these things.

Try to hack the iPad profiles
When you first get your iPads, the first instinct is to inspect it. This is not a bad thing, but as soon as you find the profiles under settings, it turns bad. Immediately, you type in a random 4 number PIN (usually your lunch number) and fail. It does not have disasterous consequences, but you may be approached by Mrs. Houle and told not to- in which case you start to hyperventilating and freak out as soon as she asks to talk to you. Nothing bad happens, but it is better to just leave the profiles alone.

      2. Procrastinate
I'm sure almost everyone has already done this at some point, but just don't. You get bad grades, a bad reputation, and it makes you look lazy. Finish yer homework!!

      3. Cheat
There is now an honor code in play, but people will still cheat. You don't need to be one of them. Cheating, while it may seem silver-lined, it never turns out well. You will be caught, severely punished, and lose all the points on whatever you cheated on. Just don't do it.
