Guess what fifth graders!? Sixth grade is going to be lots of fun. In sixth grade we go to a trip on the Vista. We learn about estuaries and hypothermia. Here's the fun part, you get to start band and you get to be in a play. If you're lucky enough you can do Oliver Twist and be Mr. Brownlow like me. In sixth grade you get IPad minis! How fun is that? You also get to take it home. I know that's exciting. You guys will fly by sixth grade really fast. The year will go fast but will be a lot of fun.
You also don't have to be worried about getting left back because if you have the same teachers I did, you'll learn everything amazingly fast. Remember the creek by Mr. Dj's house? Well, you get to go down there. We test water and submit our results to Riverwatch. Don't worry. You'll go there in sixth grade. There are also prizes in sixth grade. If you write an amazing essay for Riverwatch, you get gift cards, three water bottles and a bunch of other prizes.
Now you probably want to know how to ace sixth grade. Easy! All you have to do is pay attention in class and do extra credit. Especially in math or science. Those are the easiest grades to fall behind on. At least for me.
